        Cool.

        But I imagine most people here rent and so don’t really have much say in their appliances. Even the few homeowners on here may not have enough petty cash to swap out a range.

          In this context, cooking on a gas stove is not a matter of individual preference. Renters have little control over what appliances they use, and many homeowners cannot afford to upgrade a perfectly good stove, let alone afford the extra electricity costs.

          Yup. Blaming consumers for being chained to the hellworld capitalism produces is not particularly useful. We self blame and cast hate on others for not recycling plastic when the truth is, plastic shouldn't even be an option. Same shit here.
