The plastic bag your food came in, the car you drove to the store (because public transportation and walkable cities have been gutted), and the fact that you can get fruit from South America in February are far more damaging than turning on the stove.

It's bad for your own health without proper ventilation, that's what they mean in the article, not climate change.
I actually kinda miss the easy clean up on my glass top. But it did take some more finesse than a has stove to cook on.
