        Burning of gas leaves a lot of nitrogen dioxide, which is a cause for a host of respiratory problems. It isn't a big issue if you have good ventilation, but very few do.

        Can't really relate to the being better to cook on, never used a gas range myself.

          I suck carcinogens directly into my lungs like every 2 hours because I like it, I'm really not worried about the stove lmao

          You get better control over the heat, but it's still possible to work with an electric or induction stove, just takes a bit more focus, and moving your cookware physically off and on the burner.
