All these chud tradcaths hate the core tenants of Catholicism, but love the aesthetic and its association with social oppression. I've seen them reinvent Protestantism 15 times because Pope Francis made the news for being mildly tolerant of gays on occasion.
I'm honestly not that familiar with Catholicism but am more so with Protestant denominations. Most evangelical protestants are so far removed from anything in the bible, I wonder if they can even read or if they are just building on what they learned from Sunday school and just making a whole ass vibe out of it. We just went over the Pentateuch at my partner's church and it sort of solidified the vibe theory for me lol.
