      Half of them got to chapter 3, written in a continuous 4 hour hyperfocus session, before never touching it again and now live in constant shame, when they stumble upon the remains of their manuscript.

    Bump - I’ve been looking for the same without luck. The ones I’ve read were either outdated or I lost interest (lol.) I sought an adhd diagnosis as an adult after reading Unmasking Autism here. I’d never heard of “masking” before in a mental health context, and it suddenly clicked on so many symptoms I’ve had in my life.

      Yeah I fucking LOVE all the ADHD books written in this like super dense format and it's 800 pages of that shit. Good job understanding the audience.

    I'm also searching for books, and I'll probably start with Dr. Russell Barkley's work. He's one of the great authorities on the subject, and you can find a lecture here which might tide you over as you learn more about the condition:
