Fauxmoi prevents comments from being posted unless you have 10 historic comments in the subreddit in the last 30 days so it wouldn't work here. I did post a comment response that has been approved though.
You're shouting into the void 10 times first before you're allowed to post. The mod pov is "this gives us enough history on the user to ascertain their views". Basically they want to keep out reactionaries and anti-lgbt types and they're forcing this as a tool of getting enough history on a user to do so.
Anyway I have a history of fighting with one of the mods (ex tankiejerk mod who has improved as a person and become more of an ally since palestine), they approved me.
