Moving to a university town full of young men looking to a 40-ish dom like me for their first subbing experience has been an eye-opener. Last month I had a new session partner actually start crying because he'd never experienced proper aftercare before. Poor guy had a few sessions with other self-described doms who were just dumb thugs only looking to hit him into obedience then kick him out the door once they'd had their fun. He'd never before had prior discussions on physical limits, verbal limits, safewords, safe gestures, expectations, etc. And he'd definitely not had a dom provide food and gatorade and clean towels and a clean bathrobe and a new toothbrush and other freshening-up essentials for afterwards.

I would not be surprised if such experiences were responsible for a sizable portion of the anti-kink movement.

Damn I thought my aftercare was good but a new toothbrush? I would be floored by that
