I honestly don't believe they didn't just pick a random guy with inane views who participated in the lookalike competition to take the fall for it

I cannot keep stressing this enough: The fact that people on this site are so quick to just swallow the assumption that this is the actual guy is extremely disappointing, as are the people trying to excuse this dipshit's politics on the grounds of that assumption. It is insulting to all of us whose decades of work that was not just adventurism, or at best a successful example of propaganda of the deed, has done to positively impact millions of lives in aggregate. I am surprised at the shear amount of liberalism, great man theory bullshit, and a dash of horny posting that has been going on around this.

Motherfuckers need an equal dose of grass touching and actually reading theory outside memes I swear to fucking god.

If this means I need to host some kind of workshop as someone that has been deeply involved in fighting colonizer shit, capitalist shit, imperialist shit, etc. for over two decades I guess I could work up a curriculum but god damn this shit is shameful.

Why the fuck would anyone ever take the NYPD at their word ffs. What is fucking wrong with yall.

idk I am conflicted, yes it is funny, but also I still don't believe he is really the guy. As someone active in fighting cop shit for decades I just don't take their word on anything at face value.

Finally - sanity. So much "no no no adventurism isn't praxis go back to being depressed and having no faith and doing absolutely nothing to advance revolutionary ideals". You can't just wait for the imperial core to un-brainwash itself and expect other people with revolutionary attitude to materialize out of thin air. The less stability in the core, the harder a time they'll have maintaining power over the periphery. And without a periphery to lend power to the core, the core will fall.

The enforcers of the core will spin whatever story they want about him in particular, in order to derail the movement that his work inspired. But his views are irrelevant - we're facing a moment where the core proletariat is realizing that the gods can be killed and we must capitalize on it as best as we can

You are doing the same thing I just asked people to stop doing. Stop assuming this probable patsy is the actual shooter. None of this adds up and I am dismayed by all the people taking the feds and NYPD at their word. I'm so fuckin tired of this shit.

Not to mention all the dead children.

We can agree with some of the points someone makes, without condoning all of their actions. It's not called critical support because we provide carte blanche and support everything the person says or does.

When I call for critical support of AnsarAllah or the Iranian government, that does not mean I agree with everything that they say and do, it means that in a specific instance they are definitely on the right side and I commend them for that.

Support for Luigi should remain critical. Perhaps less critical than we are of the Unabomber, but still critical.

(Assuming Luigi is actually the assassin. Perhaps we'll discover that the assassin is actually a totally cool and based Marxist who wrote a coherent manifesto and deserves our full support).

I disagree that they are analogous in their social effect/praxis. Luigi, whatever faults in his posting, had the foresight to make sure his message wasn't muddle by killing randos.

It's at the level of effect that things actually matter.

Were most Americans ever on the unabomber's side? No.

you'd be shocked tbh, even at the time the msm editorials agreed with some of his points. he was an awful and vehemently fascist crackkker but the general populace didnt disagree with his general ramblings about "industrial" ""society"", thats just revisionism

That's not how the meme works- the first line is supposed to be something at least as bad yet hypocritically overlooked.
