OMG!!! i've been so bummed out about the show's ending that i've been avoiding watching until until the feels go away; now i HAVE to watch it!

I was wondering if we were gonna see Boimler clone before the end. NGL, up till last night, this season felt like a last season, minus an overarching finale plot line. I guess he was the last loose end to tie up and now we get to see Bearded Boimler (which, yea I guess, has been the season finale plot line all along) and the other Lower Deckers graduate or go out in a blaze of glory.

I have been hoping this entire time that they didn't ever revisit William Boimler. That they just left it as an open plot thread, as an incredibly powerful homage to classic Trek storylines that went nowhere.
