This, if you look past the terminology he uses, he's arguing that gender is a social construct and for all social intents and purposes these characters fill the female gender role.
Yeah i was just suprised that the presenter was tangentially close to actually understanding. This dude 4 years ago, was closer to understanding gender than some chapos I was talking to a week ago.
