TNG is the perfect show to fall asleep to bc it's just all the characters I love getting into wacky situations with zero stakes that usually get resolved by the end of the episode. It's like TV comfort food to me.

Honestly though I've never watched DS9, I'll probably start it once I finish TNG on netflix

well if you like that part of TNG, DS9 has non of it, everything is life and death with space terrorism a galactic empire trying to enslave the Milky Way

Still sounds good, I wouldn't expect it to replace TNG, TNG will always have a special place in my heart bc I used to watch it every night with my parents when I was a kid

    Le epic fronchman

At least he's the only actor to portray a Star Trek captain that didn't go mad with powerlust IRL.

The famous Frenchman with a British accent drinking tea all the time. He doesn't even wear a chain of onions around his neck!

My theory is that Picard is actually British, but has to pretend he's French due to still-ongoing Brexit negotiations.

I really have a hard time choosing between TNG and DS9. I always want voyager to be more than it was cause it had that look and feel, but it was like they distilled the show from that era into only technobabble. I'm willing to change my mind if someone tells me the first season was bad cause I've never done a real watch though of voy.
