I think people just need to metaphorically kill their heroes. That's my guess as to why the who "anti-police" "anti-authority" stuff is a lot of people's shtick. It will never damage the US's police state (it's way too organized, advanced, and supported by propaganda), but it can be weaponized to use against left-wing countries' "police states" under that same "anti-authority" rhetoric. The anti-cop rhetoric gets a lot of people on one's side, rightfully, but doesn't really do much in the long run. I mean for this dude to not be for the Bolivian government, which has even had like no police brutality incidents in the media or anything, is just ridiculous. "Anti-state" is just stupid.
