Had a couple of family members complaining about how movies and videos games suck these days because "you have to get representation everywhere". It’s people’s capacity for the repetitive that gets me. They want the same characters, that always look the same as each other, that always do the same thing everytime . Sci-fi has to be the same 1940s serial done all over. Again and again but photorealistic.
