I'm sure it's great. But it's definitely not $13/lb great. I live in the midwest. I can get 40 lbs of grass fed, no drug beef for $350 ($8.75/lb) and that's a 1/8 cow, so besides ground beef it would also have steaks and shit. I love the idea of impossible burgers, but there's no way it should cost as much as a damn filet mignon.
eta: I'm trying to feed a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. I need 2 lbs of ground meat just to make enough food to go around if I do chili/spaghetti stuff.
