the amount of cognitive whiplash i get from recognizing the textile industry as one of the biggest contributors to climate change and worker abuse in the world and understanding that the fashion industry is elitist bullshitting and accumulation of social capital based off of a fake concept of luxury... and yet the little rat that controls my brain still loves to browse net-a-porter and pretend i will ever have the money to afford to dress up like a side character in a 90s cyberpunk point and click game. this is a twelfth type of liberalism.
