I will never not lose my shit at the guy who thought he'd climb down into the panda enclosure and the cub decided to play wrasslin' and made that guy instantly regret the choices in life that brought him to that moment. Even though it was just a cub and slightly smaller than the guy, it still scratched him up pretty good trying to roll around and rough house.
Strongest chomp tho, so beware of that. And while pandas are plenty cute it's in a different way than your standard bear. The dark patches and different face shapes don't accentuate the Silly Bear Eyes
I would choose the bear in a heartbeat, aint no guy have cute ears like those
I will give this polite gentleman all of my pik-a-nic baskets
This was cute but also, damn the American southern accent is really something you gotta grow into huh? That started to get grating even in that period of time. It can be an incredibly soothing accent as Trillbillies exemplifies, but before your voice drops, damn.
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
Highly recommend the “Tooth and Claw” podcast. It’s hosted by a bear biologist, Wes Larsen, his brother Jeff Larsen, and their friend Mike Smith.
It’s about animal attacks but they take care not to demonize the animals. So they’re very compelling stories and they also give you practical information about how to avoid being attacked and what to do if you are attacked, plus biology and conservation info and lots of jokes. Pretty sure Wes is a low-key leftist too.
Grizzlies are probably Wes’ favorite animal and he’s worked with them a ton so they are featured prominently on the podcast.
TL;DR: Do not hug this adorable cuddly motherfucker under any circumstances.
That sounds cool except for the attack part. Know any podcasts that are just kinda about animals doing the things they do when people aren't there? I'd be so down for that.
I don’t, unfortunately! This is the only animal-related podcast I listen to but now that you mention it, a podcast just talking about wild animals being cool would be great.
There's YouTubers I treat like that but I'd like some looser discussion. A total moron who loves animals and an expert guest would be amazing.
Inthougjt Turner bought nat geo. Cause I've gotta brag I have e ery copy of the magazine from 1962 to 2005
Petting bears is like drinking lava, you can only do it once
Worth it
i mean, i kinda do
last time i was in the hospital and they needed to heart monitor me i told the nurse "sorry but my wife chose the bear" and took my shirt off and he laughed hard
