There are a bunch of things that can cause neck lymph nodes.

But when someone mentions lymph nodes in their neck I basically have a panic attack cause of what I went through

So you should not hesitate to get that checked out.

I had that shit when the rona was new, made me very paranoid. They eventually got better, but god only knows if it was the covid that got me

I've had swollen/painful neck nodes before, more than once, and it completely went away and it's been years and years (and years) since. So while yes, you should get it checked out, it can also be something relatively harmless. Better to put your mind at relative ease and not spend all your waking hours with your stomach in knots. It could be bad, but it also very much could be fine.

I had that before and thought it was going to be cancer, but it was just the lymph nodes working too hard because of acne.

:( sorry for your pain, friend Can you make a warm compress to apply for a few minutes? That really helps my neck when my lymph nodes get the itis.

Any other symptoms? Although either way, like others have said, definitely best to get it checked out

Well that's definitely some evidence for this just being your lymph nodes draining whatever you had in your ear, which is good. But yeah, if it doesn't start to get better in a day or two, or if it gets worse before then, or you develop a fever or other symptoms then please get checked out, comrade!

listen I'm not a doctor but as someone else who panicks about like, googling medical shit

if it actually was that severe it would have a way longer period of development before you notice symptoms, and it would ramp up gradually/never relent on you, you don't have super mega cancer, you're ok

Still go to the doctor regardless. Hope everything is good! :af-heart:

One of my lymph nodes is permanently swollen, but painless and I'm healthy. Just go see a doctor soon to get it checked out
