“They don’t respect our traditions. Just because we have ancestral and cultural traditions does not mean we are satanic,” said Arison Montes, a pro-Morales activist from El Alto, a largely indigenous city near La Paz.
Though I'm sure the evangelical experience is very different in the US and Bolivia, reading that article and seeing how they refer to indigenous religious practices as "satanic"... jeezus I heard so much of that growing up in church. How any sort of indigenous religious practice is always tied to satanism.
Libs are bad, folks. But let's not forget how awful the reactionaries are, too...
