With the schools already closed, we can expect creative budgetary maneuvering like outsourcing online k-12 education to Amazon Web Services who will pay teachers $8 an hour to run Zoom classes.

The police budgets will remain intact though.

    Was telling my friend today that Trudeau's "Coronavirus really sucks" statement that was somehow world news seems a lot like the sort of thing you say after you get out a meeting with bankers telling you its austerity o'clock, but you still need to get to brunch.

        I am unconcenred about Trudeau's brunch prospects. The PMC in general might be pretty fucked though.
