If you're a member, make sure to vote in the NEC elections (as lib as this sounds). There are some candidates who really want to take power away from the PLP. Ideally, the leader should be directly accountable to the members so that we can throw this red tory cunt out

No idea, truthfully. There are forty-odd candidates, so it's too much to keep on track of everything. I just went through the statements and voted for the only nine that seemed good

        Labour has to be abandoned

        They are worse than useless

People seem to forget that in recent years new parties have sprung up from nowhere like Syriza and Macrons party after the (neoliberal) Socialist Party of France collapsed

Join an actual workers party not one that is tied to the deep state like Sir Keir and his overseeing of British torture by mi6 and concluding they did nothing wrong

I think you're seeing electoralism as all-or-nothing. Socialism isn't a fight that can be won on a single front, so devoting either all or none of your energy to electoralism is useless. I'm happy to continue to promote socialism within Labour, but supporting Labour isn't the entirety of my political engagement.

Literally just told you to start a new party

It's a pretty bad idea. There are currently 32 SCG MPs in Labour alongside hundreds of Councillors and I doubt a new party could replicate that success. Like the other user said it's only one front.

You should do what you believed was right all along. Revolutionary action. Corbyn as PM would have just kicked the can down the road as much as I respect him. His ability to change things from that position would have been undermined and backstabbed and any counter measure would have caused a greater escalation at some point.

We can't revert to older forms of capitalism, or pave the way for a superior form in the future. It's at this point I'd prefer leftists to stop stepping forward to become targets and scapegoats and focus on our grassroots efforts to prepare to fight a guerrilla campaign, because that's going to be the only way to win.

In the meantime resistance is just as important.
