electoralism isn't real is an oversimiplification. There are contradicitons within the bourgeoisie and those contradictions play out electoral politics. Voting isn't a vehicle for revolution as such, but which factions of the Bourgeoisie control the organs of state power has real domestic and international implications.

To suggest otherwise is, in my opinion, to fall victim to anarco-edgeyism

chapo.chat should be a vanguard space where we can openly discuss contraditions within the bourgesoisie. If you are conducting propoganda among the masses, then you should adjust your praxis according to the needs of the situation.

I want a strong proletarian party as much as the next comrade, but process of making one isn't really contingent on which faction of the bourgeoisie is in power. Spontenaity isn't going to build a party, tactics, organizaiton, serving the people and spreading class conciousness is going to do that.

All I am is saying is let's have an adult coversation about tactics in relation to the election for a month or two out of every 4 years. In two weeks, we can go back to ignoring who the president is again and lGlenn Greenwald can go back to being a lib.
