      Ooooh shit

I'm looking for it but unfortunately any search with 'corbyn' in it at the moment only brings up daily mail and bbc articles...

The claims where greatly exaggerated by the press, people in the party undermined Corbyn out of this media speculation and the EHRC report completely absolves Corbyn. It found that 99% of the claims were untrue - the handful of actual problems only slipped through the net due to incompetence in the party structures - and that antisemitism actually improved under his leadership after these processes were reviewed and improved.

Not that sabotage would be justified on speculation alone, it's comprehensively delegitimised the smears in the press against him and the actions of Blairites in the party.

Do you know what kind of evidence would satisfy your friend? Have they elaborated their position on this? Ultimately, is it important? If it isn't important and you live in the US, I would drop it unless they're keenly interested.

Well, I agree with your assessment of the impression sharing a partisan report would give. Other than that, I am out of my depth.

But wouldn't it be in corbyn's faction's best interest to publish a positive report? A strategic leak.

This report was positive towards Corbyn, and widely condemned by the Blarite faction.

I don't follow what you mean

If I present this report BY labour to this tory bastard, he's gonna say well of course they're being positive about themselves.

            Oh it’s a Tory. Lol.

There’s a ton out there about the Human rights commission not investigating complaints about antisemitism or islamophobia in the Tory party, and tories being by and large worse.

The argument you’re running is that tories are worse, but what’s happening to Labour is one faction trying to use the existence of ambient racism in society as an excuse to purge Corbyn.

But honestly, I doubt your Tory mate really gives a shit about antisemitism. It’s just a way to get a dig in at you.

Ended up going with the islamophobia thing plus some other bits n bobs. Surprisingly went down well. He's actually somewhat interested, and totally conceded this one to me.
