Did the left ever have a struggle sesh about how the Hebdo cartoons were all fucking terrible/juvenile/not funny? They were like early-1970s Mad Magazine-level humor, and probably way more right-shifted politically. I mean, I'm not talking about mass murdering bad cartoonists, but jesus did you even really need to? Hebdo was owning itself with every issue it put out, and had a failing readership that was dying off.
