Sure. A part of being an adult is compromise. Another part is recognizing that you have worth, and to reject the abusive pieces of shit that manipulate and accuse abuse you to their own ends.

Maybe "childlike" isn't a bad thing. Before we're force-fed propaganda about how different we are from each other, conditioned toward greed and individualism, told how societal structures are "natural", maybe it's easier to see the obvious: we're all in this together and it'll be easier for all of us if we work together.
