the parties won't hold together if a war breaks out. they aren't really coherent to begin with and only make sense in an electoral, FPTP context. outside of that, the outbreak of war will balkanize the country immediately (think Syria). the only people fighting for joe biden will be restorationist libs that genuinely liked biden to begin with.
