Liberals have been telling me for years that because I live in a "deep red state" and "centrists do so bad in your state", it's proof that they can't win all together cause in the end, as they also tell me "no one wants far left candidates in red states if they can't even warm up to a centrist".
I don't live in Kentucky but I do live in the deep south and one of the biggest talks every election is medicaid. The Dems in my state aren't even running on medicaid expansion. They are just running on RepublicanLite talking about how much they love cops and the military. Then they wonder why they lose.
They truly believe that the entirety of politics consists of a straight line from Left to Right, so they can’t comprehend that people in a red state could reject means-tested liberal bullshit and then support universal policies that benefit the working class.
