I know the default emotional state for chuds is either anger or schadenfreude, but I’m wondering if anyone has noticed an uptick lately with their god emperor continuing to battle the deep state by repeatedly publicly humiliating himself as well as the latest covid comeback (although obviously covid never went anywhere). I’ve seen some chuds online predicting that the libs are going to “bring back” mask and vaccine mandates and lockdowns as though any of these policies was pushed on a national level to begin with. We all know that this is absolutely the last thing libs want to do and that it would be a disaster for Biden’s presidency for him to actually do something that might help anyone who isn’t a member of the bourgeoisie or one of their running dogs. Just wondering if it’s just me or if others have recent anecdotes of chuds acting unusually enraged.

Edit: anecdotally, I’m asking this because I was at the grocery store the other day around lunch time, it was crowded and people were hangry, and I usually try to get in there as early as possible to avoid the crowds (I am unemployed). I saw two chuds having separate public meltdowns. One was a white boomer handling every fucking last object in the sandwich aisle while complaining loudly about the prices. (“Where was this sushi made?” he said. “China???”) I had to get right next to that piece of shit to grab some sandwiches but I couldn’t say anything because then I would have gotten banned from the store. Then, as I was finishing up self-checkout, a white millennial walked past me and said, with a low voice: “you’re the one everyone hates,” presumably because I was masked. Since the pandemic’s beginning, this was the second time anyone had challenged my masking (the other time was a year or two ago when some white kids coughed at me while I walked past them outside—sorry to say it but some kids are not alright).

I know that the normal state for chuds is to be either actively or passively trying to destroy themselves and everything around them, but it’s not usually in my face like this. Libs are also not doing great despite having been in power across the country for years now. “Democrats are in power everywhere yet I still can’t stop thinking about how much I hate Putin/Trump and my kids won’t talk to me anymore because of Biden and the Democrats’ contributions to the climate apocalypse.” This is perfect fodder for BlueAnon basically—“it looks like our guy is a total fuckup, but he’s actually playing 87D kabbadi against the global Chinese conspiracy (or something).”

they have always been violent rabid dogs. ive been threatened with EVERYTHING by conservatives since childhood. ive been threatened to have to "sjw" beaten out of me since that was a term. plus what timeline are you talking about. like at least they aren't personally lynching people as much, or spitting on black children trying to get to school, still murdering queer people but probably not as much as in the 90s. so yeah no I dont think they are getting worse than usual.

my impression is that conservatives in liberal areas have become more emboldened, and that they increasingly see white libs as part of "the enemy", not just dupes or whatever. So for marginalized groups, not that much has changed, they were always more or less the enemy but white libs, or people that appear outwardly to be such, (which unless they look like a punk, a queer person, or are carrying a red flag and quoting theory at people, includes many of us on this site) are seeing the even uglier side of these people a lot more than they used to.

      Just a theory though

Honestly it's insane to me how conservatives are so bent out of shape by liberals. Sure they've always been this way, but it seems they've become even more convinced that their nonsense is life or death, and they're saving Western civilization™. Their more batshit ideas seem to be all mainstream now.

Someone here can probably explain it better than I can.

After Trump and Covid, the conservatives in my rural, smallish town have gotten angrier and louder.

    • They complain about the "communist government" or "Biden's radical leftist regime" all while fuck all is actually being done.
    • I've known people who have moved out of the state because "BLM has ruined it".

    Meanwhile:

    • There have been yearly "Straight Pride" events here for 4-5 years
    • Much larger protests outside of the local abortion clinics
    • White Supremacists are getting fucking bold. People I hardly know are saying racist shit to me (because they think they are in "good company"). I've heard the hard -r much more than I wish recently.

Its frustrating to see my area get pulled further to the right as they complain about the democrats being "too radical". I'm honestly scared for how a lot of my neighbors will react if anything meaningful actually happens to Trump.

I think when you grow up as privileged as a lot of these petit bourgeois or just labour aristocrats, having someone tell you that you're a racist or that your actions are hurting people is probably the worst thing that happened to you that year. I'm thinking of the Burning Man climate protest and how the burners lost their shit over having to wait 30 minutes, but ya it plays itself out most anywhere treat-brained, privileged adult-toddlers have to bear the tiniest amount of discomfort.

Honestly, most of them I see lately are happily in the corner chewing on their anti-trans and culture war bones

I honestly can't find any reason to believe they were more angry than during the Bush/Obama Era.

Mosque burnings, people being dragged to death from the backs of cars, abortion clinic bombings, that kid who decided to cap Gabby Giffords because she was pushing a gun control bill...

This insane but it isn't new.

Hard to say because that is their natural state. I do think there will be buildup to the 2024 election.

I think they're more adrift at the moment. They're waiting for new authority figures since some of theirs have been slightly slapped down. Also, chuds are literally built to react. Biden offers them zero red meat because he's to the right of Reagan and they don't have anyone in power on "their side" that gives them anything with staying power.

Don't worry, they'll be set off agsin as soon as it is designated Politics Season and Dems start talking about all the promises they're not gonna do.

Your point about Chuds not getting anything to be angry at Biden about seems to ignore the main strength of the Chuds, which is their unnatural ability to get mad at shit that hasn't happened, but one of them think might happen.
