Yeah and it don't look like Biden is going to win Florida or flip Texas. Dems put too much hope and faith in that.

If you discounted blue texas and blue florida in the fivethirtyeight predictions, it's becomes much more accurate.

Yeah, I noticed that from playing with their map. Watching the Five Thirty Eight live updates right now has been funny. All of them are trying to save face at their prediction of a blue wave/Biden landslide, and are just ranting and moaning about the EC.

It's 2016 all over again and the libs are too dumb to learn anything.

Not a shock. They're already on twitter going full racist at their rants about Florida Latino voters and talking about how they hope the state gets battered with hurricanes.

If Trump finishes this, I have no zero sympathy for them. These mother fuckers deserve him.

Biden's probably going to win, but it will be way closer than it had any right to be, and Biden criminally underperformed in a lot of key demographics (ie, any visible minority group).

That's probably the best case for the we-can-push-him-left crowd, I guess? "You see, you need us!" or whatever. After the massive unrest dies down at least.

        push Biden left

That's basically just Democrat propaganda. It has never happened. It never will happen. Biden is an imperialist piece of shit of the first order and also he doesn't give a fuck about giving Amerikkkan's welfare off the backs of the global south because he knows those profits belong to the bourgeoisie.

Obama ran on an explicit change platform then did nothing of consequence except trying to compromise with the Republicans at every turn. The only reason he wasn't able to somewhat cut the social safety net is because the tea party people got in and were so extreme (and racist towards him) in their demands that they couldn't conceive of compromising with him to cut things some instead of all. Biden was to his right and picked to reassured elements who thought Obama's rhetoric was too dangerous sounding.

I mean this guy explicitly said not to vote for him if you want x because he doesn't care about what you want, he's never given a fuck, he has his lifelong politics and anything he says to the contrary is just a cheap politicking lie meant to shore up his left flank. Democrats do not exist to serve you. They are not your party. You cannot "push them left" because if Joe wins the message they take is that it takes a moderate Republican to beat a radical one (Trump). Do not argue with me on this point. Your logic is wasted. It is not me you have to convince it is people whose interests rest in that being the conclusion who are going to make that the conclusion the reality. Even if they did not get that message they do not exist to serve the proletariat, they exist to create a buffer to prevent real revolutionary thinking and politics from rising by offering the same decades old worn lie that you can get the same things or close enough by voting and through gradual incrementalism. This despite the fact that worker's rights have been systemically stripped away by both parties aggressively since the fall of the USSR.

One more point I like to make. Biden is only running for one term, you say you won't vote for him next time? "Listen here Jack, I don't give a fuck" licks ice cream. Next time you'll have Kopmala running against Pete "Rat Mode" Buttigieg plus maybe Alexandria "Reading theory is elitist" Ocasio-Cortez but it really doesn't matter. So people who claim they can pressure him are delusional or witting Democratic party propagandists.

Oh man, I'm sorry you wasted so much time on my badly worded off-hand comment haha. I'm not American. I don't think Democrats will move further left. I agree with you that American imperialism will always win out. The Democrats helped overthrow the government in my home country by funding Nazis lmao. I just think it's an interesting scenario for the we-can-push-him-left crowd (of which I am not part of). I suppose against all logic and reason they could succeed, or (what would actually happen) is that they would see that they can't succeed and hopefully this will cause some of them to finally abandon the idea once and for all.

Do not argue with me on this point. Your logic is wasted.

          lmao dude

Feel free. I can't tell who's an actual liberal who believes this stuff and who's I don't even know anymore. But anyways I figure people must hold the irrational position they can push Biden left in some number even here. They must be disabused of this strain of liberalism.

he doesnt have to, all he needs is to declare himself the winner and use the Judicial to stop counting votes when he is on the lead, its 2000 all over again

No one knows, the megathread is way too high on Trump winning. Biden is still favored but it's much closer than what was expected before today. Looks like the most likely scenario is Biden squeaks by with a win but the GOP controls the Senate and smaller D majority in the House. Overall the perfect recipe for gridlock and the Dems having an excuse to not get anything done.

Oh they'll get plenty done. They'll give much more power to the intelligence security state in the name of "stopping foreign interference". They'll pass sanctions on China, they'll censor media, etc. They just won't get anything worthwhile for you or me done.

No one knows anything, and we won't for several days, they're just projecting their accelerationist fantasy like when both boxers raise their fist as they're waiting on the judges' decision.

Or in a more sinister way, they're laying the groundwork to control the narrative and use it to gaslight any sort of decision that doesn't promote a Trump win, or to sow chaos and delay delay delay.

Wisconsin is gonna be close again, and they are counting the mail ins last for sure.

Also I just drove through 20 north-central Wisconsin small towns and villages and there were a lottttt of Biden signs. Practically 0 Hillary signs around there in 2016.

"Own the libs" is the most irresistible force in American culture. Even we underestimated its power.

The funny think is Biden actually did convert all the Karen Moms - he's way up in the suburbs. He ate shit in all the cities and especially with Black and Latino voters, which is why none of the states have flipped outside of AZ

Nah, Biden is going to win, but the fact that it was remotely this close is fucking pathetic.

Also we might actually end up in a worst case scenario situation where republicans keep the Senate and that is worse than Trump winning.

Yes, I expected that the pandemic would actually meaningfully hurt Trump. The fact that it didn't should be seen as devistating for the human race as this is exactly how America will approach climate change without question.

This is why the fight over immigration is so crucial right now. As a species many people will be forced to relocate all over the planet. If that migration is met with constant hostility that’s going to be a constant disaster.

idk it looks like he's got a really good chance of winning, it looks like PA WI and MI are all leaning trump so far and if biden doesn't get at least two of those he's toast. But the percentages of counted votes might be off and there's reason to believe the straggler votes will lean biden.
