The quality of her replacement is meaningless because the job doesn't matter. We live under capitalist rule no matter who is in the OMB.

My wild theory is the party has a database of their predators who have given hush money to victims. When they want you gone and you won't leave, those victims are contacted and deployed. Libs will forgive just about anything political for someone on their team but won't put up with a #metoo (unless you're running against Trump).
Bernie would have been better than FDR. Still not good enough but better than FDR.
Pod Save is a commercial for the Democratic Party. They are as averse to talking about material conditions as CNN/MSNBC/the party itself. Most of their audience has not caught on to this because "material conditions" is not on their radar.
I'd argue it's the only one who can even be in the conversation for worst country alongside the U.S. But as long as NHS is still standing and we continue "building roads to single-payer," we take the crown of shit.
Capitalism. Currently "affecting the life" of me and almost everyone I know. And not a good effect, honey.
There is nothing official about superpower status. People who want to believe it will be able to tell themselves that the U.S. is #1 for years after they actually aren't. Media and politicians are invested in keeping the lie alive.
Put your phone two rooms away from where you talk in person. Sound proof your walls. Don't ever get your hand too close to the flame with your e-jokes.
The things late stage capitalism makes us worry about.
Oh! I'm excited too then. Won't even apologize. Pot of chili and a barrel o' laughs - now that's what I call beating the winter blues.
I once YouTubed an interview Barbara Walters did with Castro, in the 80s or 90s. "Why haven't you ever married?" was a big question she kept coming back to.
Fidel blew off the question, turned it around and said the much more interesting question is why an American journalist would sit down with a nation's leader and, of all things they could ask, they got hung up on his personal life.
We could have seen a Robert Redford sex romp in the oval office and instead we got a Sorkin script.
90s were such a cultural wasteland.
If the Chapos explicitly advocated for revolution, their presence on all platforms (Spotify, FB, IG, Twitter, even Patreon) would be zapped overnight.
One of the cruel side effects in our capitalism crisis is that the Boomer generation - disproportionate owners of housing stock, the sole recipients of reliable retirement funds - end up housing children for longer periods of time.
With their tone-deaf disposition and "get a job!" mentality, no generation could be more ill-equipped for this. The average millenial would be much more suited for compassionate parenting to a struggling adult. Tragically, you will see far less of that dynamic due to our scarce opportunities to become home owners and the fact that fewer of us will have children since it is no longer a socially responsible thing to do.
Don't ever believe them when they tell you that you are the problem. Godspeed, comrade. You will make it through.

LOL there's not going to be a 2024
Americans following it assume he's dead because no celebrity here would ever let that rumor float without offering proof of life. Maybe that's not how P.R. works in China? Honestly don't know.
I'm assuming he's alive and they forced him into silence simply because killing him feels way too good to be true.
Cool, they gonna rig it? That's what elections are for.
