I know we shit on breadtube, but YouTube as a platform is accessible and widely used, so it's a good call to stake a claim on behalf of the left-of-breadtube left.. just don't expect to make any money from it

Someone declared the rape counter as a signed int, now dems are gunning for that negative count by overflowing.

Very nice! If you add in some implicit white supremacy and pedophilia apologia, we got a Vaush in the making!!

Remember, when it doubt if the social democratic leader isn't of the Nordic race, they're an authoritarian.

Whatever you do, make sure to essentialize your identity to the fullest degree. Since you're white, at least half of your content must have implicit themes of white guilt and racial paternalism. As a PoC I order you, its reparations or u get the wokescold😎

I It's something you are interested in I would go for it. Even in the very worst case you'll probably learn some valuable things.

I've had a lot of the same suggestions, and if you're okay with getting like 200-1000 views per video for the first few times, I'd say go for it. The only issue is that BreadTube has morphed into its own subculture based on song&dance numbers, long drawn-out skits and extremely niche humor, so if you don't fit that mold it's hard to break into the circle. Nonetheless, there's plenty of good left wing videos outside of BreadTube on YT and I've honestly had better experiences than those

Yeah it's funny, by far the best leftist youtube video I've seen in a while was that "Is Stalin Really that Bad?" by SpookyScarySocialist. Normal length (under 10m), fully animated with hilarious memes, jokes that actually hit outside of chronically online wokescold circles and actual research/data interweaved into every bit of analysis. Compare this to the mindless self indulgence of a BreadTuber gesticulating in front of their camera for the duration of a full-length film all to explain something you could understand in a tweet or reddit comment. Idk maybe I'm jaded, BreadTube used to be really good like 2-3 years ago and then monetization took over

I really hate the self-indulgence of breadtube

I hope you give your idea a shot, because this is the biggest problem with breadtube: the majority of it is a sneering lib/leftist circle jerk. It's so unproductive that the cynic in me questions if it's an op.

Ben Shapiro always comes out on top because he remains calm and collected while all of the breadtube "response" videos are hyperventilating and divisive. Ben walks away with the upper hand every fucking time.

Look at it this way: even if it doesn't ever gain a huge viewership, it will certainly deepen your understanding of your own views and develop those skills of critique that, at least I think, are so important to being a leftist engaged in the current struggle. If you think this is something that you have even the tiniest inkling of aptitude for and desire to try, do it. It is bourgeois to believe that popularity is needed validate such an endeavor and it will not be a waste if you do not achieve broad recognition (of course do evaluate your own time and well being, the revolution will not take place on the internet and the health of comrades is paramount). With that being said, if you do decide to do it, you got my viewership and you're going to fucking kill it comrade! o7

I like some beardtubers, smaller ones, but they're pretty bold and brash and not quite as palatable to non leftists audiences in the way they dress or style their videos. It'd be cool to have someone who's aesthetic is more like bread tubers but who's content is more like beardtubers, if that makes sense, cause imo the goal should be to educate people who aren't exactly already leftists, as opposed to just reaffirming existing leftists beliefs.
