Chairman Daou is planning a revolution. Biden is ahead enough to get 270 if the remain vote isn't for Trump he'll increase his margin by small amounts. But where did that bring you? :back-to-me:

It should be over soon.

If election day's got you in an emergency, you can find hotlines here

The 🇱🇷 2020 🇱🇷 American 🇱🇷 Presidential 🇱🇷 Elections 🇱🇷 are the single most important political event since The Last Fascist was VOTED 🔫 OUT 🔫. We on the admin team see it as our duty to enforce the views of our audience by any parasocial means necessary.

As a nacho-socialist cabal, we see no path to revolution other than by focusing the majority of our leisure time on consuming bougie media. Media that is obsessed with the details of an election we decided our preferences on months ago, if not years ago. Here's the bottom line: Voting makes you a good person and not voting makes you a bad one. Don't believe us? Just ask Lenin:

A democratic republic is the best possible political shell for capitalism, and, therefore, once capital has gained possession of this very best shell (through the Palchinskys, Chernovs, Tseretelis and Co.), it establishes its power so securely, so firmly, that no change of persons, institutions or parties in the bourgeois-democratic republic can shake it.

We must also note that Engels is most explicit in calling universal suffrage as well an instrument of bourgeois rule. Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you. Universal suffrage, he says, obviously taking account of the long experience of German Social-Democracy, is "the gauge of the maturity of the working class. It cannot and never will be anything more in the present-day state."

See? We can't let capital take control of this "very best shell"! Turtles belong to the people! And the way we do that is by voting for posts.

This was always the worse outcome. When Bernie got fucked on super tuesday all i could think of was how much of a nightmare this is going to wind up being. I try to think im not too shocked by all of it but the goddamn open contempt libs hold for the poor since tuesday night is downright frightening.

I think a Biden landslide or a Biden loss would have been worse. A landslide would have confirmed to the Democrats that they don't need the left. A loss and they would have said the Democrats got too socialist.

That said, they'll probably spend the next 4 years vote scolding leftists and minorities instead of learning a lesson.

I'm not so sure about the 2022 Senate race. If you look at the map you see that Dems have pretty much no chance of losing a single seat (unless you think Mark Kelly could screw up his special term), and GOP has to defend at least seven seats. Ron Johnson, Roy Blunt are toast. Grassley will probably be dead by then. Toomey and Burr retiring. Murkowski always looks like she's toast but she's also got electoral magic powers so who knows.

I agree about the House, though. Who would speaker even be? Kevin Mccarthy?

I agree about the house, but disagree about the Senate. The Senate map absolutely favors dems in 2022 in the same way republicans lost the house in 2018 but picked up senate seats.

Also there are some pretty good potential rising candidates that could take the mantel in their particular senate races. I'm hoping that the Lt governor of PA runs for Senate. He endorsed Bernie both times and really understands deeply the failures of neoliberalism in a way say AOC or Ilhan don't (they understand why capitalism is bad, but neoliberalism didn't really cause the current problems in NYC in the same way as small town PA).
