Chairman Daou is planning a revolution. Biden is ahead enough to get 270 if the remain vote isn't for Trump he'll increase his margin by small amounts. But where did that bring you? :back-to-me:

It should be over soon.

If election day's got you in an emergency, you can find hotlines here

The 🇱🇷 2020 🇱🇷 American 🇱🇷 Presidential 🇱🇷 Elections 🇱🇷 are the single most important political event since The Last Fascist was VOTED 🔫 OUT 🔫. We on the admin team see it as our duty to enforce the views of our audience by any parasocial means necessary.

As a nacho-socialist cabal, we see no path to revolution other than by focusing the majority of our leisure time on consuming bougie media. Media that is obsessed with the details of an election we decided our preferences on months ago, if not years ago. Here's the bottom line: Voting makes you a good person and not voting makes you a bad one. Don't believe us? Just ask Lenin:

A democratic republic is the best possible political shell for capitalism, and, therefore, once capital has gained possession of this very best shell (through the Palchinskys, Chernovs, Tseretelis and Co.), it establishes its power so securely, so firmly, that no change of persons, institutions or parties in the bourgeois-democratic republic can shake it.

We must also note that Engels is most explicit in calling universal suffrage as well an instrument of bourgeois rule. Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you. Universal suffrage, he says, obviously taking account of the long experience of German Social-Democracy, is "the gauge of the maturity of the working class. It cannot and never will be anything more in the present-day state."

See? We can't let capital take control of this "very best shell"! Turtles belong to the people! And the way we do that is by voting for posts.

Best thing about this site: people upvote even if I spell shit wrong/I mess up my grammar. Sometimes I look back at a post and its almost incomprehensible but still upvoted, makes it easier to post my stream of consciousness

After Biden wins will the libs finally give Tara Reade permission to accuse Biden of fingering her?

Every single time a lib posts an image of Trump/Trumpist America juxtoposed with Nazi Germany in regards to like his visual appearance, the presence of (armed) police, etc. makes it obvious it is literally just aesthetics to them. Which is why they conflate USSR with Nazi Germany because it also had to militarize and enforce strictness on the population to combat Germany in WW2.

And also that Ur-Fascism is treated as a start-and-end text on fascism by baby's-first-theory libs, which is mostly a social/cultural analysis of fascism by an anarchist, is but another example. It’s a good analysis on that aspect but it completely ignores the economical and power-political aspect of fascism and liberals don’t care because they just want to shallowly quote-mine professionals and academics to support what they already believe.

I do actually think Trump would become a fascist if the material conditions demanded it (they won't as long as there's no mass politics and left-wing opposition), but the liberal understanding of fascism is pathetically simplistic and aesthetic. We need to oppose similar aesthetic politics.

The funniest thing is watching all the liberals on twitter pass this off as a win. This should’ve been a landslide, and they were all saying it was going to be! Now Joe is barely going to win with a reduced margin in the House of Representatives and a republican Senate, this isn’t any kind of a good victory!

Gonna have a history test about the industrial revolution in 11 minutes. Can I maybe get some good lucks from all you lovely people? :heart-sickle:?

Edit: Just got done with the test, went pretty well. Got to write about the two revolutions, the blues and reds, and if the Industrial revolution actually deserves to be called a revolution or not.

So today in my archeology of ancient civilizations class we learned about the Indus Valley civilization, which was pretty interesting. Towards the end of class we watched a video about Mahendro-Daro which was one of the main cities and it talked about how there is little evidence of a ruling class such as ostentatious palaces, etc; and how there is some sort of assembly hall type structure and a large, presumably communal granary in the city.

But instead of suggesting that Indus Valley civilization could have been some sort of communalistic democracy, which I think is a reasonable interpretation based on the evidence, the presenter kept talking about how it was some sort of big mystery because Mahendro-Daro was well organized and had big walls made from fired brick so it had to have had a ruling class.

To me it seems like Mahendro-Daro could disprove the archeological theory that social stratification is necessary to organize large building projects, but I guess ideology is too powerful a drug even in archeology which is heavily influenced by Marx.

If nothing else it will be interesting to watch how a completely neutered presidential administration works, since the senate isn't going to confirm a single Biden cabinet nominee or department head.

A couple positive notes, it means Pete isn't gonna get a resume-padding job in the admin and Warren won't get any sort of reward for her efforts in the primary lol.
