It was conservatives who demanded that Pennsylvania count mail in votes last. I think the situation is the same for Georgia as well.
They know that mail in voters lean blue, so they're intentionally trying to put off getting their votes counted early specifically to dovetail in with election fraud conspiracies and legal attempts to nullify votes counted past election day.
Elections offices have been trying to get permission to count mail in ballots before election day, but in many red states, they've been stopped from doing so, with no good reasons given.
Isn't the governor of PA a democrat though? I'm not from the US so I'm not really aware of how this kind of thing works, but wouldn't he or his party have the say?
I mean, being fair: GA going blue is weird as shit. COVID response, sure. But what the hell? It's the only Blue state in a sea of red in the south. What the hell caused people to turn out? (Besides Atlanta, I guess)
Don't know when it'll happen, but Texas going blue is only a matter of time, as both the metro areas grow and the younger crowd starts leaning further left.
Which is why they're thinking up new innovative ways to disenfranchise voters there, though, because the Republicans see it coming.

If the chaos results in us getting a secure E2E voting system like Venezuela, that would be nice. But nice things can't happen here.
We're gonna put in on the blockchain.
please don't
lol, contributing to global warming by voting for public offices.
Secret ballots = intent to commit election fraud.
Just when Russia meddling died down now we have mail in rigging. It never ends.
Gotta say though, two elections in a row with suspect results? Sounds like the US should do a coup on themselves.

It's so incredibly scuzzy.

Yeah, he is. Now I'm second guessing myself. Maybe it was a court thing?
Or I could be misremembering.
Edit: It's the Republican led state legislature.

Good question, also consider:
elections are usually seen by the secretary of state, who may be from another party
Democrats are not good at their jobs, and generally should not be depended on to put up a fight, even when it counts
On it
Muh Russiagate. Muh election interference but this time the entire thing has a red cap on it.

atlanta big and sprawled and the black belt is there. similar things in the midwest states

Id agree with you if Democrats weren't so fucking incompetent
See Beto's "hell yeah we're gonna take their guns" Hindenburg comment as a prime example.
I mean, I'd like them to go the other type of red, but it's a real trend that's happening.
There was even talk of it happening this election. That turned out to be premature.
They'll probably go a more bluish shade of purple, FWIW.
Abrams almost won there in 2018 and it's a state with an enormous black population, it's not that weird.
