What ive gathered from these wealthy libs posting is that its a some kind of social thing its completely an upper class thing but i wish everyone could have time to spend with their friends or coworkers
It gets overplayed as something exclusive to bougie libs, because it's culturally significant for them, but it's not like nobody else eats late breakfast and drinks.
The thing with all brunch places around me in the bay area is
It's more expensive for no foreseeable reason other than how it's marketed or whatever
Popular brunch places are always packed, like lines and shit which I suppose adds to the "exclusivity" to the allure.
Breakfast should be served till at least 12 IMO, but they get away calling it something different because we, as a species, are really fucking stupid.
As a former cook and server, brunch crowds are the actual worst, most entitled people that would come in. The actual "Karens" or whatever of the world fucking love brunch. I hate it
Except it's definitely late enough for lunch, most people do brunch at like 1pm.
The only reason I will do brunch is if the meals are on some sort of special. But that is less and less common. I miss going to the upscale Mexican place down the street for half price entrees at 11am. Now it's like double the price for smaller portions of last night's leftovers with eggs.
Nah, I'll stick with Indian buffet lunch.
(Not that I've gone out to eat since last February anyway...)
breakfast food for lunch :D :D :D Not quite early enough for breakfast, not quite late enough for lunch

Oh well yeah that's the Bay Area lol. I'm in Cleveland which is a low income city so brunch is just whenever you go out to eat in the morning.
