The left punching and scapegoating is fucking tiring, and the Latino vote discourse in certain circles is alienating as fuck (I'm Puerto Rican myself). I thought Biden winning would let me relax for a couple weeks, but I just keep getting more pissed by the day.

Yeah - I know it's kinda lib, but I never fully got over the Bernie ratfuck, though most of the time I don't really think about it. I usually just compartmentalize a lot of this shit away, but the election rubbed in the Left's face that there are only bad options as far as our "legitimate" institutions go for the foreseeable future.

I just have such bad vibes, between the CIA congresswoman, the immediate whitewashing of trump, Bush era names coming back up, the absolute love for a ghoul like Kamala. Its just so depressing and feels so much larger than disorganized chuds talking about Q.

I hear ya 100 percent, comrade. I know it's tough with election news dominating everything, but maybe it'd be best to log off for a little while and focus on something you enjoy - being constantly plugged into this shit can be completely draining :heart-sickle: :af-heart:

(Though PS I will not be following my own advice on that, thank you very much)

I've been trying to unplug. Ive got a lot going on, but i feel too tired to be doing something good/productive/enriching when i'm not doing the shit I have to do.

      I feel much better.

That was an attempted fascist coup. Did you think they would leave in 2024, after they had consolidated more power?

We avoided, for now, a potential Hitlerian takeover. The other timeline would have been pitch black.

The anti-electoral action worked. Collective faith in electoralism has been destroyed. The chaos has come with minimal violence against the masses, and the reactionary forces are demoralized, disorganized, and ripe for re-education. We can now extend the reach of a new Western Maoism inside the Imperial Core.

There are revolutionary pathways to the liberation of Cascadia, Mexico, and Quebec.

The future is bright, the red sun rises, etc

I wish I was as positive as you, I'll make an attempt to channel it.

I still don't see any Western Maoism in the imperial core though.

Consciousness raising is happening, the political education of the masses has improved dramatically.

Trump is a loser, and a greedy narcissist, and is going to weigh the right down - if he goes for a media dynasty, he will be competing with the existing Murdoch dynasty - and that relationship has turned antagonistic and is of course irreparable.

Trump has no fundamental ideology beyond egotism and vanity - he’s the nightmare that won’t go away, the perfect curse on the far-right.

We, on the other hand, have a much safer position to pursue agitation for police abolition. The Proud Boys and various reactionary militias no longer have any support from the Executive.

          Life is good.

just the bitter aftertaste that knowing if an election this tight had happened in latin america, or some parts of east asia or the middle east, it would've been called fraudulent by the US and probably backed the right wing candidate, maybe they'd have violently intervened
