So now the corporate democrats got their shitty centrist elected. The libs will go back to brunch and nothing will fundamentally change for the next four years.

However the material conditions that led to Trump is still there. Inequality is growing and the middle class existence that many Americans thought they were entitled too is becoming a more and more unrealistic dream for many.

On top of that a global pandemic has crashed the economy and the US model of privatised health care, minimal labour right and inadequate social safety net is proving to be a massive failure all while the ossified political establishment is unable and unwilling to pass necessary aid to people.

What will happen next politically in the US? I have a really bad feeling about this. People are going to feel angry, insecure and cheated out of what was rightfully theirs. I don't see the large confident movement of organised labour capable of improving material conditions emerging any time soon. I fear the political consequences of the decline of American society will rather be affiliated with the far right.

What's next: Republicans blame a Democrat president and radical leftists of being the root of all their economic woes, apolitical working class people are driven more easily into the arms of fascists and right wing populism in the absence of any left alternative because the left is "the eternal enemy" and we get President Tucker Carlson or Ivanka Trump or Erick Prince in 2024. Basically we have to kick our in person organizing into overdrive because fascism has a huge head start.

Right now Republicans are throwing together anything and everything they can to protest everything Joe does. They are spinning up the media and 'dark money' machines to fund these groups. Everyone from Parler power posters to 8chan streamers who only play games where you can kill women will be the next Ben Shapiro. This will be worse than the Tea Party ever was. There will be protests everywhere and the liberal media will boost them to get their post-Trump fix. This will give the appearance of a large grass-roots right wing movement. Dem leadership will get spooked because they'll lose the moderate Lincoln Republicans to the siren call of fascism. Then they'll start bending to the criticisms of the Potemkin movement out of electoral fear. Just like Obama did. They'll suddenly go hard center-right on ever policy because they're scared some 14 year old who tortures puppies will call them communists during a guest spot on prime time Dan Bogino show.

Dems are already going to lose hard on midterms unless they immediately stack the courts and start pushing through anti-gerrymandering shit. So when the red wave comes then it's going to be under the assumption that Nazis won Republicans their power back. Q people will be relegated to middle-of-the-road RINOs. Nazis will ascend in Republican ranks just in time for 2024.

The Digitalization of capitalism continues in a bid to circumvent and destroy what remains of labor rights in the first world (there's a reason Biden wants the Quibi lady) just like neoliberalism was defined by the financialization of western economies so will Digitalism become defined by the tethering of all possible labor markets to privatized computer systems, which will simultaneously be reinforced by mass consolidation of the rest of cyberspace by the state and capitalist corporations

Prop 22 was only the latest attack
