Maybe one could have been, I don't know the logistics behind the server, but at the same time I haven't donated for exactly the reason you are articulating. I trust the mods but not enough to donate without some sort of plan or budget. Other people have felt compelled to donate absent a plan and that is their own personal thing to think through.
servers cost a couple hundred bucks a month to rent. they're getting a couple hundred bucks a month. I'm comfortable waiting a few weeks for a more detailed plan over virtually no money at all.
I mean what guarantee is there that it isn't? Couldn't some sort of finacial plan or something have been put forward from the jump?
Not really; it's frankly incredibly impressive that this site is up and running so soon, honestly.
