At first I was excited, then I read the part about the storage temps. Public distribution will be a nightmare. Plus it requires two doses about four weeks apart. Good luck getting people to follow through on that. It’s hard enough to get people to get their flu shot. Does anyone know if there’s a candidate that doesn’t require two doses?

Not for a while I think, there's stories popping up about mutations happening in norhtern europe so it's probably gonna be a two-dose vaccine until we're working on CoronaVax2.0. Also keep an eye out for when it's discovered the Dakotas are literal breeding grounds for this shit causing 3 new strains.

There're a bunch. The main ones are UofOxford/AstraZeneca AZD1222 and the Chinese CanSinoBio Ad5-nCoV - both currently in phase 3. And there're half a dozen more single dose candidates, but I don't think any of them started trials. The majority are double dose, 2, 3, or even 4 weeks apart.
