If you don't agree with the free market in children you literally don't understand basic economics :ancap-good:

This minimum could be quite high, but ceteris paribus there's absolutely no way to bring it any lower. After all it's the minimum.

The market will decide the optimal number of deaths from neglect.

How do you write all this bullshit out and not come to the obvious conclusion that libertarianism is a childish ideology. Yeah the starving infant begging its mother for sustenance, that's just coercion, you're basically Pol Pot Stalin Hitler for not letting that mother toss their dumb baby in a garbage can.

It's "I never asked to be born MOM!" but made into an economic ideology.

How about a flourishing free market in old white economists? Could have them fight in a cage and place bets on who wins, have them do menial tasks to keep those arteries healthy or just throw from a catapult for fun. The free market decides.

    "One boy,

    Boy for sale.

    He's going cheap

    Only seven guineas.

    That -- or thereabouts.

    Small boy...

    Rather pale...

    From lack of sleep.

    Feed him gruel dinners.

    Stop him getting stout."

okay okay, but you gotta admit, it would be pareto optimal if nonces could have a supply of children limited only by their wealth, and that any state of affairs less than this would involve impermissible coercion by the state.
