So no, that’s not exactly what happened. Bidens plan was always 10k and chuck seems to be pushing for 50k.
That being said we’ll be lucky if we get the 10k which is not nearly enough.
Chuck loves to take the progressive positions on political battles he’s sure to lose. Most people kinda just assume it’s for him to create a buffer against a potential primary from the left.
By “push left” they really meant push the backspace key on the concessions spreadsheet
