That's the infamous "No Russian" level in Modern Warfare 2. You play as an undercover CIA agent who accidentally helps a Russian ultranationalist frame the US for a terrorist attack on a Russian airport (oops!). In retrospect it was an attempt to top the shock value of the AC-130 and nuke scenes in the first MW and it pretty much worked. They've since kept upping the ante, and 2019's Modern Warfare is just a numbing slideshow of dead civilians and torture scenes, all the fault of someone other than the US.
I'm fairly sure there's a bit in a COD game where you open fire in the lobby of a civilian airport.
