Red Alert 2 is pretty based since there's a whole Soviet campaign. If I remember correctly, you get to blow up the Statue of Liberty and Pentagon.

There is also a Mod for Red alert 2 named Mental omega, that remakes the game ad the story and divides the soviet union in 3 factions (Russia, China and Latin america) its good

There's also the "Phantom Doctrine" turn-based strategy RPG where you can play as a KGB agent putting together an international squad to infiltrate all kinds of facilities in search of a rogue group within the Soviet military and intelligence forces.
