      Also saying that "Thatcher is presented as a working class feminist hero" is an absolute wild take about that show. She's presented unambiguously as a huge piece of shit in both her personal and political lives. There are many pains taken to show how she hates all women other than herself because they're "weak" and there's an entire episode dedicated to the absurdity of the Falklands War and the terrible damage she did to British society by dismantling social services. It's not a left wing show but the Thatcher depiction is extremely negative.

          I've found the previous seasons to be annoying but I'm enjoying this one a lot and it's because of Thatcher and everything around her. You should really stick it out and pay attention at least to the episode about the guy breaking into the queen's bedroom. I haven't gotten past that one yet, but that is legitimately a fucking great episode of television.
