I've never actually seen a photo of a bread line in a communist country. That is, I've seen photos that have made that claim, but inevitably the photos turn out to be from a capitalist country during austerity, or from a communist country that has recently fallen to capitalism.
Do authentic photos of communist breadlines even exist?
Edit: since I posted this I found a series from 1990-1 USSR, which, I don't think counts. In fact, I think anything from late 1980s onward is due to opening of the country to capitalism. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
And actually, I found a photo from 1917 Russia. Funny how there's that whole 70 years in between...
