    That's absolutely infuriating.

    Have you contacted the company that makes the medicine to explain whats going on? They might give you the medicine for free/cheap just for the two months - kinda use their greed to your advantage, you know? Like they give you some free meds so they can return to billing your insurance company 30k a month at the beginning of next year? Shitty "solution", but maybe it would work?

      Yeah right now I'm still arguing with insurance to accept the prior auth I had my doctor write to up the dosage and override the max quantity received, but if that doesn't work out contacting the company is my next play.

      EDIT: With this kind of disease it's unfortunately not my first rodeo with bullying insurance companies.
