Yeah, there's a reason all the chuds think Rohrschach is the good guy. It's not just them being totally oblivious to their own ideology as usual, the film actively pushes that interpretation.
I have my own misgivings with the comic (it’s a bit misogynistic and homophobic at times, also is a bit circlejerky and stupid) but it has really, really good art, and some of the best panels I’ve seen in a while. Watchmen deserved better
I disagree. The plot is kinda just ‘wot if cape man real and bad’ and anyone who thinks this is a brilliant plot needs to be smashed 30-40 times in the head with a golf club
He did a bad job with watchmen because he didn’t understand it. How do you not understand Alan Moore’s least subtle comic ever?

Absolutely. Not all of it has aged well, but it's still a wonderfully precise deconstruction of the genre.
