It’s been a while but I think there are situations where you beat up a group and the last one standing will like beg for mercy and batman will question him and then punch him unconscious. And that’s supposed to be letting them off easy.
A Batman type guy in our universe would just be a wanna be cop/wants to bully poor people. In his universe, he's a decent dude that fights actual villains/monsters. Can't imagine cannon batman gives a shit about users

It's kinda funny because in the recent spider-man game he actually does just run around beating up people for selling drugs. With most versions of Batman he doesn't seem to care about anything less violent than armed robbery.
Thank you. I understand the thought process behind it and I'm glad for it as a sign that people are turning on the rich, but I kinda hate the characterization of Batman as a rich kid who beats up the desperate poor as a hobby. His primary targets are organized crime and super-criminals who are usually psychotic murderers.
In Arkham Asylum he just murders and breaks the spines of pretty much every thug.

Yeah, there's a reason all the chuds think Rohrschach is the good guy. It's not just them being totally oblivious to their own ideology as usual, the film actively pushes that interpretation.
I have my own misgivings with the comic (it’s a bit misogynistic and homophobic at times, also is a bit circlejerky and stupid) but it has really, really good art, and some of the best panels I’ve seen in a while. Watchmen deserved better

I’m entirely convinced that the Justice League Synder Cut is literally just money laundering. He apparently spent 70 million on reshoots, but added less than ten minutes of footage. This is some kind of scam in my mind
Idk about that. The reshoots probably added less than 10 minutes of footage in the final cut, whatever that looks like, but he may have shot a lot of coverage, not to mention there was probably a ton of footage that he shot before it was handed over to Joss Whedon that needed to be finished. It's funny how he was like "oh yeah it's ready, WB just has to release it" when it was a fucking rough cut where none of the post production was actually done.

yeah but it also breaks with the main thing that batman has like the not killing not using guns is literally the one thing that stops batman from being the fucking punisher it just breaks the character like bruce wayne failed to kill the dude who killed his parents there are a lot of comics about the origins and failing because he understands that they are not doing this because they like to do it they are hungry they are desperate and the city failed them and batman understands that the city of gotham is fucked in a way that no matter how much he tries he will still not save everyone so snyder just found a way to stip all this interesting things and make him the worst version of batman possible

I feel like I could talk my way out of a meeting with Batman. We're both business owners, he sells arms to the government, I sell drugs to the street, I'd work that angle. Might even talk him into giving me a job. Of course, this all hinges on me knowing his secret identity.
