this is from /r/Denver, I’m in CO and we just got In N Out, overrated garbage I’m sure
Oh my god look at this aerial shot of the line of traffic at the burger joint.

It's 90% parking lots and roads. God our car-centered infrastructure is such hot garbage. The worst part is that most Americans would look at this pic and find absolutely nothing there to improve.
half the time walking is going throught parklots of course there are going to be obesity problems
Is this the Colorado equivalent to when the USSR got its first McDonald’s
Same shit happened when we first got Krispy Kreme around here. Imagine getting that excited about a cheeseburger or a donut
It just happens at a lot of new restaurants. My city did this idiot shit for Popeyes
A little while ago the sandwiches came to Canada. I tried the spicy one. Honestly it was pretty good. The chicken, bun, pickles and sauce were tasty. But it was so salty. There might have been msg in there, but man, that breading was so fucking salty. If they could just tone that down a little it would be a lot better. But it was definitely not worth the insane overhyping, it was just an above average fast food chicken sandwich.
Five Guys will be nationalized after the Revolution. Workers deserve their greasy bag of boardwalk style fries!
What's the fucking point of waiting in line for fast food, it's literally going to be there next week ffs
In locations that get their first INnOut, there is a line every day (though not 12 hours tbf)
Every fast food place I've never eaten at is "the best thing ever" and then when I finally try it it tastes like every other shitty fast food place on earth. It all tastes the same and it tastes like shit.
In-and-out is good and I say that as a Texan where this opinion is unpopular
I'm not an In-N-Out stan, but I question your taste buds if you think they taste like McDonalds.
In-N-Out is really good imo.
12 hour wait good, or even a fraction of that? Nah.
Then again, I dunno what is.
I'm going to come in hot and say that, compared to midwestern fast food, In N Out is hot trash. It's appeal is that it's cheap, especially for Cali, and the portions are generous, again for Cali. I have been taken there as a treat multiple times and I am underwhelmed every time. Everything they serve is bland as hell, even the secret menu items, which are, let's face it, mostly shit with thousand island dressing on it. On the other hand, this is good because I don't crave it like I do midwestern joints.
Oh and the wait is almost always long, lol so good luck with that.
Respectfully disagree. My daughter won't touch Five Guys. I think its over priced, greasy, and meh at best. Took my daughter to SoCal last week and after one trip to In n Out she wanted to go back every day we were there.
I like In n Out but really, a carne asada burrito from a 'tos obliterates this hamburger chain bullshit talk.
five guys double burger with an extra patty (so... three)
mostly shit with thousand island dressing on it
So just Big Mac knock-offs? Good to know I'm not missing out lol
They're pretty good. I don't think its epic street food or anything but if you have a chance, try one. You'll probably like it.
