Hexbear is mainly about Left-Unity folks!
I love the far-reaching embrace of dialects here. It is very comfortable for my general thought processes.
Similar, myself. I consider myself an anarchist, mostly in line with anarcho-sydicalism and am a "no first strikes" pacifist. But, I see value in ideas from across the (leftist) spectrum and would argue that MLs and similar may be more realistically feasible in a lifetime scale as I do not think humans are currently in a cultural or psychological state of evolution where a global anarchic society would be sustainable in the face of bad actors.
I also acknowledge that historical victories for the people have usually been accomplished with a "hammer and anvil" of violence and non-violence, and don't think that that has changed as much as I'd like (or hoped when I was younger). It will take all kinds to move our species forward. Maintaining our humanity and humanizing even our enemies is vital, I think, to achieving the society that we want to live in.
Capitalism runs through every aspect of existence and it will take a multi-pronged approach to both overthrow and replace it
There is no magic one-size-fits-all solution
I may not agree with all of my comrades about everything, but the important thing to remember is that they are my comrades first and foremost
My love for them is stronger than any petty disagreement, especially over things that we may never live to see implemented ourselves
The whole site + Lemmygrad is anarchists based on the political compass test the other day
