There's a demo you can download on the switch store. I've only played the first chapter (that's what's in the demo) but it plays like a cleaner version of Hyrule Warriors.

Is it actually a prequel to BotW, or does it have the classic time travel fanfiction vibes the Hyrule Warriors games have?
A small guardian travels back weeks, months, a year? But other than that, it’s the prequel. Hyrule Castle is standing. Not a lot of ruins.
You have the same sheikah slate powers and all the champions are alive.
